I got word today that I could post this story, so here it is. NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory has adopted ColdBox for their web application development on several projects. This is very good news for the ColdBox and ColdFusion community as more and more companies are adopting ColdBox as their framework and software toolkit.Another announcement is that two books are in the works. I have started to compose a definitive guide and a pocket reference guide. This will be part of a corporate training package that I will be planning to offer for 2008. So companies can benefit from physical training materials as ColdBox moves into the POSS (Professional Open Source Software) arena. The books will be self-published via on-demand. However, if you are a publisher or know of a publisher that would be interested in creating these training materials with me, please contact me offline at lmajano@ortussolutions.com. As 2.5.0 reaches completion, more and more success stories will be posted. Also a new section in the wiki has been created to showcase companies, applications and websites that are using ColdBox technology. So if you are interested in showing up your company, website or application built on ColdBox, then please submit it to this post, the google mailing list or info@coldboxframework.com. There are only two guides left for update before a final release of ColdBox 2.5.0 becomes a reality. So stay tuned as a release could happen any day now.

And of course the lame joke about how this news is going to 'propel' Coldbox to the next level. Sorry. Congrats, Luis!
